About the client

The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) is an international financial institution that supports economic development and regional cooperation in the Black Sea Region. Established by 11 member countries, BSTDB has a capital of €3.45 billion and offers a range of financial products and services to both public and private sector clients.

About the project

BSTDB faced several challenges in its digital transformation journey, such as:

● A legacy file share system that was outdated and inefficient

● A demand for advanced internal user interaction and approvals

● A concern for the security and protection of content and data

● A requirement for secure and controlled external sharing of content

To address these challenges, BSTDB partnered with us to implement comprehensive and customized M365 solutions to enhance productivity, efficiency, and security.‍

The solutions

In collaboration with BSTDB IT Department, we designed and delivered the M365 solutions that consisted of the following components:

● Office 365 with SharePoint Online and OneDrive to replace the legacy file share system and provide modern and secure file storage and sharing capabilities.

● Microsoft Teams and Viva to create a hierarchy of sites and teams that would reflect the organizational structure and project portfolio of BSTDB and foster a culture of collaboration and engagement among its staff and stakeholders.

● Power Automate will automate and streamline the business processes and workflows of BSTDB, such as approvals, notifications, and reports, and provide user interaction through Teams.

● Power Apps to build custom apps and forms that assisted in Team governance and administration.

● Azure Information Protection and Office 365Compliance Center will provide a comprehensive solution for the classification, labelling, protection, and governance of BSTDB's content and data, ensuring compliance with the relevant regulations and standards.

● Azure and Office 365 Policies to configure the security and sharing settings of the M365 environment, such as authentication, retention, and auditing, and enable secure and controlled external sharing of the content with the partners and clients of BSTDB.
